Using Screens and Tints
Tints (also known as screens) are a great way to make your project look like you used more colours
than you actually did. Which saves you money, as well as making it look more interesting.
A tint takes a solid colour and gives the eye the impression of another colour. Small rows of dots are printed in the solid colour and each coloured dot is surrounded by white space. The more white space around each dot, the lighter the solid colour appears to the eye.
